Candy Dulfer, the queen of funky sax, and Sheila E., the percussionist prodigy, and their dream play off. Candy Dulfer began playing sax with the influence of her father, the popular sax player, Hans Dulfer. She saw her solo debut in 1990 with recognition from musicians such as Prince and Madonna. Having praise from both Maceo Parker and David Sanborn, among others, she is winning adoration around the world.

With Pete Escovedo as her father, Sheila E. is a percussionist who was once actively performing in bands such as those of Santana. Having started her career in her teens, she debuted as a soloist in 1984 with the Gold Record-achieving “Glamorous Life”, which was produced by Prince. From then on she has been continuing her activity on the front-line. Candy and Sheila will perform in Japan together for the first time.
